Hello Support,
We are experiencing a problem with Transfers. When we create a transfer transaction with Completed status, the stock quantity moves between stores as expected, but the stock amount value turns to ZERO ?!
Please see the attached screenshots for reference. And if there is any way I can send you a video clip of the whole transfer process showing the problem, please tell me how to do it.
Thank you, Mazyad

Hello,
I tried to check
Dummy1234
product. There is one purchase with one quantity and one adjustment with twenty quantities and the reports show ten sold and eleven balance in stock. If something is wrong, please let me know the steps to reproduce the error.
Thank you

Dear Saleem,
The issue is not about the quantity, it is about the Amount! If you see the screenshot that I attached from Product Report Page, you will observe on column “Stock (Qty) Amt” that the Amount (Cost Value) is Zero, but quantity is 1. and this product actually has a cost.
My understanding is that there is a quantity and cost, so this column should show the stock total cost value amount as well.

Hello,
I saw that you are using AVCO, and it’s known to have cost issues. If you have such an issue, please select the products on the listing page, and choose the
Set Avg Cost
from page menu to correct the cost.Thank you

Dear Saleem,
I hope you are doing well.
I did what the instruction said, chose All products, and clicked on “Set AVG cost”, but I did not see any changes! I also tried choosing just one product “Dummy” and did the same “Set AVG cost” and nothing happened either! I’m sending screenshots for you to see.
And, when will the AVCO method issue be fixed?

Hello,
The avg. cost is 1.00 and that’s correct.
For products report, the stock amount is zero because you have only stock that is added by adjustment, and it consider as zero cost.
Thank you

Dear Saleem,
I hope you’re doing fine.
To explain our recent activities, we first wiped the database by removing all transaction records related. Following that, we removed all Products entries. Afterward, we set up new Products and initiated a purchase transaction for a single product before conducting a stock transfer transaction.
Now, the database only holds two types of transactions for that specific product - purchases and transfers. The expectation is that the Product Report should reflect the correct inventory cost, right?
However, there’s a discrepancy as the stock cost figure in the Product Report is inaccurate, which is evident from the screen captures provided.
No sales, returns, or adjustment records exist. Attached are the screenshots, awaiting your evaluation.
