what is the setting for a store with branches

I'm not going to let customers sell anything, I will provide the products , customers can just buy.
I'll need to use suppliers

I'm wondering why is customers has a company field and db table ?
is my setting is wrong or what ?
and I've to separate branches , what is the best setting for branches ?

Hello,

All the data (products, customers and user etc) is system level. If the customer is not company you can skip the company field with - (dash) and the customer will be consider as person.
