URL to link to product by Name

I can link to a product by ID using //server/sim/products/edit?id=123. Is there a way to link to the product by Name instead of ID?

Also, is there a way (via a URL) to display the product in a view mode, rather than edit?

Hello,

No. There is no such option. You will need to modify the item code or hire ant developer to get desired result.
