once we download the stock count report and update the counted qty and upload the file in to system for finalize adjustments, we make sure to upload the file with correct format. but every time we get errors saying that check respective line numbers. what is the issue here. ?
"Please check product code (6540434). product code x exist Line No 2 "

Do you have product with code
6540434?Please pay attention on the code column. MS Excel and other might change the column format for the numbers that could cause such issue.
No. You should preform fresh install instead.

Most you don’t have to but if you have big numbers in code column then set it to text.
