Hello,
We are using SMA stock manager advance and seemingly the installation was done back in 2019.
We would like to upgrate to newest version as this one has some bugs like randomly adding new items to sales order when saved!
My questions:
1. Is update possible without damaging our data in database(customers, products, sales order, customer balances etc.)
2. If not, how would you help me to fix the bugs?

Please let me know your current version number so that I can tell the difficulty level.
We are unable to fix or support old versions. The news versions are released to fix the reported bugs/errors/issues, so we only support the latest version.

I guess I found the version. In the file named "documentation.pdf" on the server, I see that the version is V3.0.2.23
Please let me know if we buy the latest version, will we be able to upgrade?

Once you extract the download file the folder name will have version number. If already installed the version number is displayed in admin area footer.
V3.0.2 is quite an old version and there are a few changes in database that need to update the values manually.

I have no idea how to be more specific but please refer to the attached screenshot.
Updates are free and you can download them once avaialble from same page as the download file will be updated.

Yes I see that our version is 3.0.2.23 and we would like to upgrade to the latest one.
As this installation was done 4 years ago, I dont have any details about it. Therefore, if I buy a new licence for the latest version, will it be possible to upgrade with this new purchase and how? Please give me the exact procedure to do so.

You can follow the update instructions from the documentation.pdf
As your version is very old, there could be some issue caused due to many sql imports (step 8) but those can be resolved as you know them.
