I would like to ask when will the secondary name of an item shown up? There is a field called secondary name when I create a new item, but I can see the secondary name in the product preview page (please see the attached photo). Even the product cannot be searched by the secondary name. Therefore I would like to ask under what condition can the secondary name be used?

It's only to display on the receipts and invoices. Some Arab countries require to display product name in local language.
