Did a POS sale of item which has product price as $1.99usd and cost as $0.97usd, $0 tax.
Sold 3 quantity so total sale is correct, however cost and tax is not deducted to show profit of $3.06usd.
fyi, nothing added to the “List Purchases” and “List Expenses” tables.

I think there is no point of using POS software without understanding the profit. In fact I think quality of analytics on the transactions data, which efficiently allow owners to understand every detail of their business are more important than the POS itself. POS is nothing more than a means to collect the data. A simple calculator can add sales but it cannot keep track of costs and taxes to be written off against each or total sales.
How can we get a cost and profit analysis page?

I agree with Post owner… the profit should be shown after deducting discount and expenses. i would appreciate if you can add this feature asap. if it already available please let me know
