i have created a product called Allan but the demo does not allow me to sell the product to recreate the problem.

i think the demo is reflecting correctly ,how do i upgrade the system without messing the current data will i have to put images again

I didn't understand? There won't be any change to your previous records. Update will only effect new records.

I think i need assistance set the new version for i have tried updating but the version still remained unchanged 3.4.18, i read the strings from other members and noticed i was using an older version with bugs thats why i was having multiple problems ,how can i move version to correct version . my images are also not showing after doing it myself .but i backed up files before attempting
