1. while uploading purchase what are the inputs can be given there? i could see qty, expiry
2. There is a small edit icon(pencil icon) adjesent to product name. i think its a quick edit icon, so when we click that it asks a price, what is that price exactly it is asking for, is it purchase price or MRP of product.
a. If it is a purchase price than why is it replacing the MRP of product with same price
b. If it is a MRP of product than why is it calculating the purchase total according to that price
PURPOSE WE WANT TO SOLVE
we want that our warehouse person scan the product, enters the expiry date, qty, and MRP.
Because these three things varies in every incoming lot(bundle) of stock.
Suggesion : Can we get notified of response on email, bcz its not feasible for us to keep the support window open.

1. As you can see on the add purchase page, it very similar to add sale with cost column instead of price.
2. If you click the edit icon, it will show the modal with option to change product related details such as tax, discount and cost. The cost will be for this order only unless you have choose to update the products cost with purchase.
Yes, you can change quantity and expiry date on order row while to change cost, you will need to click edit icon and change the cost on modal.
If you don't want to change the product cost, you can change your system settings for `Update cost with purchase`

- SSAnsweredgot the issue, thanks for response, issue that 'Update cost with purchase' was turned on so it was affecting cost price, MRP is Indian term,
MRP is maximum retail price, the maximum price at which a good can be sold at, its printed price on goods - MSAnsweredThank you for updating
- SFAnsweredI think you also should be aware of the Average cost and FIFO in the system it is very handy.
