With MRP i refer to the maximum retail price, means the maximum price at which a good can be sold at, MRP is generally printed price on products, i dont know what u calls it in your terms, In India we call it MRP.
So, my concern is, there could be stock of same product with different MRPs, like for product A we purchased 50 qty printed MRP 2000, in next purchase of same product brand changed its MRP to 2100 . we already had 50 qty , 40 sold , 10 remaining from previous stock on which MRP printed is 2000. and 50 new stock added, built its MRP is 2100.
How sale works in current system,
system picks current MRP regardless of stockwise MRP,
now when we sale product A's old stock then MRP on invoice will be displayed 2100 but on product its printed 2000, and this i think is violation of tax law in all countries, to display MRP more than actual

    Hello,

Like you pointed out the SMA system currently does not have a stocks-wise MRP feature. I would have suggested you set your SMA system to use the FIFO method, then change the price of the product once you sold out products from a previous purchase, but this depends on your type of business and how you run it, not suitable for a shopping mall business where customers pick items they want themselves, so definitely not the best solution.

Then my question here is, how would the system uniquely identify the physical product of the same product with different MRP? If you have a feasible way of identifying the product, then customizing/modifying your SMA system to implement the logic won't be much of an issue.

Another suggestion will be to create new products for purchases with different MRP, but that will not be the best solution either.

One thing you will need to understand is, implementing such a feature on a system built for general usage might not be feasible.

In case you need to modify your SMA system and need a developer?

    Hello,

There is no option to update price as you need. You will need to update the product price manually after you have sold the first purchase. If not system will keep selling on previous price.

If you are talking about purchase code that will be calculated as per your accounting method.

    Thank you
