- PVAnsweredto clarify, this example I captured from the Live DEMO. and on my actual system also having the same issue.
- MSAnsweredHello,
Those will different if there is any order related data. The daily/monthly sales show the order data while the day/month profit don't but only (products revenue [sale price] - products cost).
Thank you - PVAnsweredBasically I thought it should just be count as one day profit.
Example: if day 1 I made sale 10K and cost total is 9K and customer paid only 5K.
then can you tell me how much is my profit? the reason I ask this crazy question because I don't understand how this system calculate.
is it calculate day by day each payment or what? or how? I tried to read the manual but it doesn't mention anything about how this system think on this point.
please give me a clue. - PVAnswered"Those will different if there is any order related data. The daily/monthly sales show the order data while the day/month profit don't but only (products revenue [sale price] - products cost)."
does this mean, the daily sale cost will also count the purchase in that day in to the cost? - PVAnsweredit gives me unclear because what I see on daily sale report and daily purchase report detail are the same.
- MSAnsweredHello,
Profit don't consider customer payments, `10k - 9k = 1k`
**_If customer balance/deposit are not add/subtract from profit._**
```txt
Products' Revenue = Products' sold price
Products Cost = The cost of the products that you have sold (it will be calculated as per your accounting method in system settings)
```
Thank you - PVAnsweredso what you mean is if the customer is Due, then total Due amount will also substract from profit?
- MSAnsweredNo. The customer dues are not effecting the profit at the moment. Thank you
- PVAnswered**[Mian Saleem](/u/saleem)** so could you tell me what is the purpose of Daily Sale report and Daily purchase report? because if the effictive date of sale or purchase is not captured and not accurate?
some of day, we have sales but not showing on the Daily sale report. and the numbers are not match with the Sale report when we filter, so why do we have the Daily Sale Report or Daily Purchase report? what for?
so I want to verify the numbers are correct or not, because the Profit and Lost can I trust it or not compared to AVCO method and so on. - PVAnswered**[Mian Saleem](/u/saleem)** Also if we don't know each fields on the Daily sale where does it come from then how can we know the numbers there right or not?
if those numbers will just shifting around , so what is the point to have them as a report. so i think I need a guide on this point because on the document you provided there is no explanation there. - Login to Reply
