Asked
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your continuous work on the project. I have tested both the standard version and the SaaS version, and overall I like the direction of the system. However, after testing it in a real retail business environment, I found several features that I could not find or configure. I would appreciate it if you could clarify whether these features already exist, are planned for future releases, or if there are recommended workarounds.
1. Offline / Custom Payment Methods
In my country, we use several offline payment methods such as bank transfers, mobile wallets, and other local payment methods.
I added these methods through Payment Methods, and they appear when creating a normal sale. However, I noticed several limitations:
• They do not appear in the POS payment screen.
• They cannot be linked to accounting payment accounts.
• Their transactions are not reflected correctly in the accounting system.
• They are also missing from the Cash Register Report.
It would be very useful if every payment method could be mapped to a dedicated accounting account, allowing accounting entries to be generated automatically.

2. Chart of Accounts & Automatic Accounting Mapping
I could not find a way to organize the Chart of Accounts and configure automatic accounting mappings.
Ideally, I would like to configure accounting rules such as:
• Sales Account
• Purchase Account
• Inventory Account
• Customer Receivable
• Supplier Payable
• Tax Accounts
• Payment Accounts
• Cost of Goods Sold
These mappings should preferably support branch-specific configurations, allowing every branch to have its own accounting setup while journal entries are generated automatically.
For businesses with multiple branches, this feature is extremely important.

3. SaaS Version Installation
I also purchased the SaaS version from your website.
Unfortunately, I found the installation process on my local server quite difficult.
Could you please provide:
• A detailed installation guide.
• Step-by-step documentation.
• Video tutorial (if available).
This would greatly simplify deployment for developers.

4. Import Sales & Purchases from Excel
Would it be possible to add the ability to import:
• Sales Invoices
• Purchase Invoices
using Excel files?
This feature would be extremely valuable for companies migrating from another ERP or POS system, allowing historical data to be imported quickly while reducing manual work.

5. Product Variants & Automatic Barcode Generation
Another important point concerns product variants.
For example, in the clothing industry, products usually have multiple:
• Sizes
• Colors
• Patterns / Designs
It would be very useful if the system could automatically generate barcode numbers for variants based on the parent product barcode using a configurable sequential pattern, while still allowing manual editing whenever necessary.
This would make inventory management much easier and ensure consistent barcode structures across all variants.

6. Cash Register Report
I noticed that the Cash Register Report only includes the default payment methods.
Why are the amounts received through custom/offline payment methods not included?
Ideally, the report should display a complete breakdown of all payment methods used during the day, including custom payment methods, to make daily cash reconciliation accurate and complete.
Is this the expected behavior, or will this be supported in a future update?

7. Bank Cheque Management
I also couldn't find a complete cheque management system.
It would be helpful if cheque payments supported features such as:
• Cheque due (maturity) date.
• Pending / Cleared / Returned / Cancelled status.
• Confirming successful collection.
• Tracking the complete cheque lifecycle from receipt until settlement or return.
• Reporting on outstanding and returned cheques.
These features are essential for businesses that frequently deal with cheque payments.
8. Human Resources & Attendance Management
I also noticed that the Human Resources module could be significantly enhanced by improving attendance and payroll integration.
In many countries, including mine, the most commonly used attendance devices are ZKTeco (ZK Time Attendance) fingerprint and facial recognition terminals. While direct integration with these devices would be ideal, I understand that it may require additional development.
As an alternative, I believe the current HR module could be improved by introducing a more flexible attendance management system with the following features:
• Employee Groups or Shift Groups.
• Assigning each group to a predefined work schedule.
• Configurable working days for each schedule.
• Working hours with configurable start and end times.
• A configurable grace period after the scheduled start time before an employee is considered late.
• Configurable lateness rules, including automatic penalties based on the duration of the delay.
• Automatic overtime calculation when employees leave after the scheduled end time, with overtime calculation rules configurable by the HR manager.
• A Permission (Excuse) system that allows employees to leave before the scheduled end of their shift with management approval.
• The ability to define whether approved permissions affect payroll, are unpaid, or are deducted from monthly working hours according to company policies.
• Flexible payroll periods (for example, payroll calculated from a configurable From Date to To Date) instead of being limited to calendar months.
I believe these features would make the HR module suitable for a much wider range of businesses, even before adding direct integration with biometric attendance devices such as ZKTeco.
. 9Expense Management & Accounting Classification
I also noticed some limitations in the Expense Management module.
Currently, I could not find a comprehensive way to record general business expenses that are not directly related to a customer or supplier.
In real business environments, companies have many operational expenses such as:
• Office rent.
• Electricity and utility bills.
• Internet services.
• Telephone and mobile expenses.
• Fuel and transportation.
• Office supplies.
• Maintenance expenses.
• Government fees.
• Marketing and advertising.
• Insurance.
• And many other operating expenses.
Ideally, these expenses should be organized into Expense Categories, with each category linked to the appropriate accounting treatment.
For example, each category should be configurable to determine whether it represents:
• An Operating Expense.
• A Fixed Asset acquisition.
• Depreciation Expense.
• A Prepaid Expense.
• Other Income.
• Other Expense.
• Or any other account defined in the Chart of Accounts.
Additionally, every expense category should be mapped to its corresponding accounting account so that journal entries are generated automatically without requiring manual accounting adjustments.
I believe this would make the accounting module much more practical for real businesses and significantly reduce manual bookkeeping while ensuring accurate financial reporting
. 10Point of Sale (POS) Improvements
After using the POS module in real retail scenarios, I found a few areas that I believe could significantly improve the user experience and speed up the checkout process.
Multiple Payment Methods in a Single Sale
It would be very useful if a single sales transaction could be paid using multiple payment methods.
For example:
• Part of the payment in cash.
• Part by bank card.
• Part by bank transfer.
• Part using a customer wallet or another payment method.
The sales receipt should clearly display the amount paid through each payment method, making reconciliation and customer records more accurate.
11. Integration with the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) E-Invoicing System
I would also like to ask whether there are any plans for a future update to support integration with the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) E-Invoicing System.
For businesses operating in Egypt, this feature has become increasingly important, as many companies are required to submit their invoices electronically to the Egyptian Tax Authority.
An ideal implementation would allow users to:
• Connect the system directly to the Egyptian Tax Authority portal through its official API.
• Submit selected sales invoices to the ETA without leaving the system.
• Track the submission status of each invoice (Submitted, Accepted, Rejected, or Pending).
• View any validation errors returned by the ETA and resubmit corrected invoices.
• Store the ETA submission reference for each invoice for future auditing and reporting.
Adding this integration would make the system much more attractive for businesses operating in Egypt and would eliminate the need for third-party solutions or manual invoice submission.
Could you please let me know if this feature is included in your future roadmap or if there are any existing plugins or integrations that support the Egyptian Tax Authority's e-invoicing platform?

. 12Quick Return by Reference Number
I would also like to suggest adding a dedicated button in the POS interface that allows the cashier to quickly enter or scan the Sales Reference Number (or invoice barcode) to retrieve the original transaction.
This would make the return process much faster than searching manually through previous invoices.
Additionally, the return process should be linked to proper validation rules, such as:
• Preventing the same item from being returned more than once.
• Preventing duplicate returns for the same invoice.
• Validating that the invoice is still eligible for return according to the configured return policy.
• Tracking whether each invoice or item has already been fully or partially returned.
________________________________________
. 13Improving POS Performance and Workflow
Finally, I believe the overall POS interface could be optimized to reduce the number of clicks and the time required to complete a sale.
For businesses with high customer traffic, every second matters. Any improvements that make selecting products, searching for items, scanning barcodes, adding quantities, and completing payments faster would greatly enhance cashier productivity and the overall customer experience.
A faster and more streamlined POS workflow would make the system much more suitable for supermarkets, clothing stores, and other high-volume retail environments
14. Price Groups & Pricing Policies
I would also like to suggest enhancing the pricing system by introducing Price Groups and Pricing Policies.
This feature is essential for businesses that operate multiple branches or serve different customer types, as each branch or customer group may have its own pricing strategy.
Ideally, the system should allow users to:
• Create unlimited Price Groups.
• Assign a default Price Group to specific customers or customer groups.
• Assign a Price Group to individual branches or business locations.
• Allow users with the appropriate permission to choose a different Price Group during the sales process when necessary.
• Restrict access to Price Groups through user roles and permissions, allowing only authorized users or branches to use specific pricing policies.
Additionally, it would be extremely useful to support Excel import and export for price updates, including:
• Updating product prices in bulk.
• Importing and updating multiple Price Groups.
• Assigning prices for each Price Group through Excel.
• Exporting current pricing for review and editing before re-importing.
These features would significantly reduce the time required to maintain large product catalogs and would make price management much more efficient for businesses with multiple branches, wholesale customers, and different pricing strategies.
15. SMS & WhatsApp Customer Notifications
I would also like to suggest adding an integrated customer notification system that automatically sends sales information to customers after completing a transaction.
The system should support sending notifications through:
• SMS (Text Messages)
• WhatsApp
After a sale is completed, the system should be able to automatically send the customer a message containing:
• Invoice number.
• Invoice date.
• Total amount.
• Paid amount and remaining balance (if applicable).
• A link to view or download the invoice (optional).
• Store name and contact information.
It would also be beneficial to provide users with the flexibility to:
• Enable or disable automatic notifications.
• Choose whether to send notifications via SMS, WhatsApp, or both.
• Customize the message templates for each notification type.
• Send notifications manually from the invoice screen when needed.
• Keep a log of all sent messages, including their delivery status.
This feature would improve customer communication, reduce paper receipts, and provide customers with an easy way to access their purchase information while enhancing the overall customer experience.

Overall, I believe these enhancements would significantly improve the system for retail businesses, especially those that require full accounting integration, multiple payment methods, branch-based accounting, and advanced inventory management.
Thank you again for your excellent work. I look forward to hearing whether these features are already available, planned for future releases, or if there are recommended ways to implement them.

Hussien Mohamed
