Hello,
Each order service needs a measurement. You can add from the order page if the customer doesn’t have measurement for service.
The statuses are fixed. If you need to edit or add then you need to update the validation in OrderRequest.

We use standard measurements, I don’t need to add a measurement for each customer but only select the service and create the order, even adding a measurement to the service does not work.

The measurement is required. I am not sure now but we will check in future updates if can make it optional.
What error you get after adding the measurement? Can you please share screenshot?
