I have and issue with the barcode printed in digital weighing scale , the SMA reading the whole barcode as item code , but in the scale i configure first 5 digits item code and four code is either weight or price (it depends i can configure) but when i read a barcode it reads all the number as item code can anyone help me to configure how the system can set to read a barcode from digital scale i tried to change the Barcode Symbology but still it recognize the whole number as product code and in the POS when i read that barcode the item shows the price i defined and the quantity shows as in numbers

You all settings are fine. While scanning on the POS screen you are missing stating 0 ‘210010008204’ the code should be
0210010008204If you miss the 0 system will count the chars and it will be 12 so it will not parse it as scale barcode but normal product code.If the reading is not reading the leading 0 that might cause issue once you have non-zero char there. If all are 0 then settings can be changed.

Hello,
Your barcode scanner should type exact 13 characters as on barcode.
It doesn’t matter how many flag, item code and weight chars but the total length should always stay same. System will only parse it if the typed code chars are equal to total chars in the system settings.

Hi , still i don’t understand what you are trying to say please see the attachment one is the real barcode with the 13 chars and the other is a sample item which the bar code scanner scanned with 13 chars and in clearly you see the total chars defined 13 so still i don’t where i am wrong

It’s very clear that on the barcode input your scanner is not read the barcode as it is? IT should read it exact same as on the barcode. This shouldn’t be so difficult to understand. Just pay attention on the typed code at barcode input file on the POS.
