I am thinking to add that same barcode setting to SMA in next update along with fix for costing issue.

Thanks for your reply , actually we brought this software mainly for our meat shop so the scale bar coding will not work then we are in trouble or maybe we need to look for some other app which will support the scale bar coding , because as you know the meat shop always we will weigh the item,the scale will generate the bar code depends on the weight or price , i hope you understand since we are opening the shop only for the meat .if there is a chance scale bar code reading in the next update then i am so happy and i will wait for that , but bro can you please tell me when you are planning to release the next update because we are so close to open the shop … anyhow let me check the above link , if i will get full access i will try the option which i required and if it is any issue i will update you along with the suggestion too

There is any fixed date as need to investigate an issue. I think it would be by the end of next week, mean mid of the month.

The MPS link in the reply, you just need to open, click login, click settings icon in top bar, scroll the page to bottom and click barcode settings.

Hi , i checked the link but unfortunately i am not able to save and the bar code settings and this cause not able to create item code for test purpose. the main issue is to add and item with that setting and to change is very costly ; foy no nee

Dear Mian, Good day, i will give you a hint about the scale barcode, the barcode will not contain any info about the price at all, why ? because the price need to be fetched from the item sell price or retail price as we defined the item, what the system should do is. i.e. we define a barcode of 13 digits. first 7 digits is the item code itself, and the rest of 6 digits are the actual weight of the item. now suppose i have apple as an item, with code 9800001 and i bought 1.32 KG, the final barcode from the weight scale will look like 9800001001320, when a sales guy sitting on the POS panel will hit this barcode with his barcode reader the system should grab the apple item and put it on the sales board and adjust the quantity of that item to 1.32 , so here the system will check the item price form the DB and grab it, multiply it by qty which is 1.32 and give total price. so as a result in the attached setting page, you dont need at all to set the price digits.
