Recently, I was migrating my SMA with POS from local installation to live server. When I use POS Print Server, my USB printer prints different font type/size. Changing font/line width in edit menu is not working somehow.
How do I set the font type/size? because now the print result is not looking good. Btw, I’m using Epson TM-U220 printer.

Hello,
The POS Print server send the print as RAW test while html will be send as the view by browser.
Normally receipt printers have 2 or 3 fonts. You can try font
aorbto see if it makes any difference. If not, you need to edit the printer at POS Server and set the character per line to lower number to adjust the line break.Thank you

I’ve tried changing font and char per line setting. Char per line setting is working only when I test print from PPP, but it’s not working when I print bill. While font setting is not working at all for my printer.

Hello,
Can you please add print in SMA same as POS Server and then try to select it with PHP Server (localhost) printing settings. Once save, you can select POS Server. This will correct the character per line issue. AS SMA send the pre-formatted text.
I hope this word around will be helpful for now. I will check in future updates to non-formatted sent the text to POS Server in future releases.

Hi, thank you for your response. I have tested installing PPP from github (https://github.com/Tecdiary/ppp) and set my USB printer with smb configuration. It’s working fine somehow. Maybe there are some issues with zadig? idk.
For now I will try adding printer in SMA as you suggest and see the result. I’ll look forward for your next updates, and also I hope you can add a feature to custom the bill’s printed data in the future because I want to hide some informations.

POS Print Server is no more using PHP but Nodejs. PPP repo is no more maintained.
Yes, please try the suggestion as that will set the SMA formatter to use the default printer character per line.
