Customer Not Active

After I register as new customer when I can not log in. This the message I got [Error!

Login Failed! The account is not active, please check with administrator.]

Hello,

Please make sure, you have update the default email and email settings.

System send email to confirm email address of the user. Once they confirm they should be able to login.
