Hi,
1. I am having challenges with adding a product subcategory
2. in the POS sales, the system is computing higher balances even if a sale is fully paid/cleared

1. the demo also does not support adding "sub-categories". see attached
2. the balance in the POS sales for the demo is fine but wrong in my system. see attachedAttachments - EGAnswered1. You need to select Category first before you will be able to select a subcategory. Meanwhile, ensure you have created both the category & subcategory, refer to the documentation file on how to do this.

You need to add categories and subcategories (select parent category to add subcategory). Once you have categories and subcategory, system will load subcategories on add product page once you select the category.
I am not sure why you having wrong balance amount? Did you modify any code? Please test it on live demo and let me know the steps to reproduce issue on demo.
No. SMA don't have sync. If install on live server then you will need internet to access.

If you don't select `parent category`, you will add main `category`. if you select the `parent category`, you will be adding `subcategory` So if any category has parent category that will be consider as subcategory.

If I know or guess the reason, I have already told you the solution. I did ask you to let me know the step to reproduce the issue on live demo so that I can check and suggest.
Thank you - TAnswered**[Mian Saleem](/u/saleem)** Go to POS, make a sale, make a payment, submit the payment. currently in my system, if the total amount of the sale is may 500, and the customer clears the amount to zero, the system doesn't display a zero balance. If a customer partially pays the sale total, it still displays a wrong due amount.
