Let’s assume we add a product with cost INR 100 with 18% tax inclusive
So, in POS, when this product is selected, it should show INR 100 inclusive taxes but on the other hand, it shows 100 + 18% tax = INR 118 which is not expected as tax selected on this product was inclusive in nature.
Please provide a solution to this problem ASAP as it is creating a very huge problem in using POS for me and not able to manage my taxation system.
Thanks.

Hello,
No. The inclusive tax means the price you provide already have tax. Please refer to documentation.pdf, there is FAQ What is the difference between inclusive and exclusive tax on add product page?
Thank you

Hi @Mian Saleem ,
Exactly that’s what my expectation was, that the price I have provided is total price including tax but while adding product to bill in POS, it calculates extra tax to it which seems a bug to me. Please either clarify or fix this issue.
Thanks.

Hello,
I added product with inclusive tax and order showing correct price and subtotal. Please let me know the steps to reproduce it and share screenshot too.
Thank you

Hi @Mian Saleem
Pls check the attached screenshots. A product has been added as 18% inclusive tax but on POS/bill tax is showing as 0 instead of 18% of Sale price. Please note that this issue is happening intermittently, hence, sometimes it shows zero and sometimes, sale price + 18% of sale price. Please look into it. Thanks.

Hello,
I am having difficulty to understand you. Your product price is 1000 inclusive of tax and that the price on pos sale. So what is the issue here?
I am sorry if I am being dumb but really didn’t get the problem. Please explain to me with steps to reproduce the issue on demo.
Thank you
