Hello My Simple POS was working ok but today when i try to open it i am getting the following windows error message
“This App can’t run on your PC to find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher” the pc has windows 10

    Hello,

    The SimplePOS is build for ia32. Did you updated the windows? I guess you are on x64, let me build it for x64 and will send you the download link to test by tomorrow.

    Hello Thank you for the installation package i have just downloaded it (53.7 MB). but before installation, I would like to know if my DB will be lost, if so how do i back up before installation. It was windows 10 64 bit and it was working fine it just stop working now , not sure if it automatically updated.

    Hello,

    You need to backup your database first. Please don’t install it if you need backup database. You can refer to SO Question to know more how to run 32bit software on 64 bit windows.

    Thank you , can you please send me the instructions on how to backup the database (specially when the system can not log in) is there a folder or a file ware i can copy. the link you send is about how to “Run 32bit applications on Windows 10 64 Bit” but it does not show how to back up a database.

    Hello Before i work on the actual system i wanted to try it if the back up works on another computer so I have installed trial Simple POS and added some sample product data and as per your instructions I backup the db file. Then i restored the backup db file back to the same folder but when I open the Simple Pos again all sample products are lost. please advise

    Hello,

    You need to choose the database file while selecting the restore database on other machine. Restore will delete all data and restore the chosen db file.

    The database is fine i manage to see the data on another PC But i can not install the 64 bit version of the software on the pc i am planning to re install 32 bit version of windows 10 . Please advise me on how i can re activate after installation the OS. I used one of the 5 licenses i purchase . if needed i can send you the MAC address of the PC
