Hello I tried verifing or subdomain on google search console when i uploaded the html file to the root folder and tried verifying the site ownership It doesnt work
I tried for some website which works
I also tried using different option but it didnot work
what cold be the problem

Hello,
Which root folder? You should upload to
publicfolder as that is your subdomain’s root folder.If verify with other options like CNAME that nothing to do with this forum but your DNS server.

Do you mean public_html or the forum public folder
