I set up the Email settings as SMTP
Entered the Gmail SMTP Settings. It was working perfectly in the development system.
After I reinstalled in the VPS production system using CWPanel, the SMTP protocol with Gmail settings (Less secure app access is ON) is not working. When I choose PHPMail Function, emailing is working but email goes to the spam folder.
May I know any possible fix for this solution

If it was working in localhost it should work on live server too unless some server/config issue. Please share the exact error message. You can check with your server admin/host as they would be able to help.
There could be various reason of email to fall in spam folder. You can google `Why Emails Go to Spam Instead of Inbox`
