May I know how you have added the return?

There are 2 return for sales. From sale list that will adjust the main sale. From returns menu in side bar, that should be displayed on register close modal.

It is in the option: sales- sales in pos- select the sale-actions-return sale- return the product but that return does not appear reflected in the cash register

Yes, as the return from the list sales page directly attached to the sale. So there is no need for separate display it will adjust the master sale and will display in the return. If the return sale is not reflected then you need to check the return sale date. If you set the return sale date to some date before register open date then those will not include in the the register. Please pay close attention on the return sale date.

While adding return, did you check the date? It was `16/07/2020 8:29:00` while you opened the register at `16/07/2020 14:xx:xx` that is the reason the return is not showing on register :(
