I think it isn’t installation issue but server configuration. Can you please make sure that MySQL mode only_full_group_by is disabled. If it’s already disabled then please let me know site details in private reply.

Please check server error logs and let me know the error details. You can check with your host for logs path.

You can enabled app log by changing the log_threshold to 1 in app/config/config.php and then try to list items again. The logs will in app/logs/ folder.

I can only suggest solution after knowing the error, so please try above and let me know.

I can’t help you check your install. I have already tell you that I need error details to suggest. The 500 error could be caused due to various reason and server error log can be helpful.
