Please check the server error logs for more details about 500 error and let us know so that we can suggest.

The user register might fail due to emails too, please make sure that the email setting is correct. I will fix the email error in coming week's update.

Hello mate, There is nothing clear in logs file in my server that shows any error related to this script.
Regarding the emails, I just check it via setting -> Email protocol= PHP Main Function

Just to let you know one point that could help you to detect the problem. When I try to create a new user it is showing 500 error, however, when I check the list of users I found that the user already been created!
When I try to create a new category it is working perfectly, same as with adding new thread it is working fine :)

I would be email that causing the error. Can you try the forgot email to check is emails are working? I will update the register user method this week.

So the issue is due to emails. You can try different email settings and check.
