based on customers groups there are discounts when making sales transactions. is it possible to eliminate discounts on certain items when customers groups makes sales transaction? is there any setup that i missed?
for example
customer groups members get -10 percent discount when do regular transaction, but when buy certain items the discount not apply

No. Customer group will set the price as per discount. There is no option to set it for product. It will be applied to all the products.
