- MSAnsweredHello,
You need to add the cron job on your server as mentioned on the system settings page. The documentation.pdf (page 20) has more info about the cron job.
Thank you - MMAnsweredHello,
How can I reset reference numbers monthly but all others automatically thinks daily? - MSAnsweredHello,
If you select the option that has month, the reference number will be reset every 1st day of the month by cron job.
Thank you - MMAnsweredThank you for your reply
But my question is about, how can I run cron daily but only reset reference numbers monthly - MSAnsweredHello,
You just need to add cron job as mentioned on the settings page, your server will run it as per schedule.
Thank you - MMAnsweredHello,
I think you did not understand my request, I need 2 cron jobs, One that works monthly to reset the reference numbers, and another that works daily for the other automatic processes, but not reference numbers, is this possible - MSAnsweredHello,
No. There is only single cron job that you need to setup to run daily, it will take care the reference number too. There is no monthly cron job required.
Thank you - MMAnsweredbut I need that reference numbers reset monthly because Reference Format has YEAR y MONTH for example SL/2020/09/001 if it reset daily, tomorrow I will had a sale with the same reference number , so I need it reset monthly BUT if, I config the cron job to works monthly, other tasks like Delete expired products or Expire product promotions after end date will run monthly howover, I need these task to run daily, is for that reason I need to config the cron job to run mothly for task "reset refernce numbers" and daily for all other task.
- MSAnsweredHello,
**No. It will not reset daily.** It will be only reset on the start of month. If you setup to run cron job hourly/daily doesn't mean that it will reset your reference number every time it runs. I hope I make it clear now.
