I'm trying to add a product and the add products page won't allow me to add the product because the category section is not loading any catagory.
How can I add a category ?

Please read the user guide in documentation.pdf that is included in your download.
You can add categories from list categories menu under settings. On the list categories page, click the page menu to get the add category option.
