You can try to save the system settings and shop settings again to make sure no default data is missing.

You can enable app logs by changing the `log_threshold` to 1 in the `app/config/config.php` and then visit the page again to produce errors. Lastly check the latest log file in the `app/logs/` folder.

base_unit_cost is not on the table sma_purchase_items that is the error, is there an update to the DB that needs to happen after the shop is added?

Hello, Have you updated or it's a fresh install? If updated, did you import the sql files as mentioned on step 8?

You can only install shop module on latest version of SMA. So before install, you need to update the SMA and then install shop module.

V3.4.40 is the latest version. The `base_unit_cost` column was added in the v3.4.38 I am not sure why your installed latest version don't have it. If you perform update, the step 8 is very important to update the database. You can run the following query after selecting your database to add the column

```sql
ALTER TABLE `sma_purchase_items` ADD `base_unit_cost` decimal(25,4) NULL;
```
