Hi, one more question.
I am trying to add a very simple HTML line to my ad space at the end of my sidebar. It is enabled. When I update, I get a green "successfully updated ad settings" but my HTML line is gone and nothing shows.
Is my HTML line saved? Or have I missed something?
Thank you

- MSAnsweredHello,
You can visit the ad setting page again to check if it's saved as the valued will be loaded to the textarea.
Thank you - HOAnsweredSorry, I don't understand where to look for the saved text file.
When I want to place a GIF as a test, written as " <img src="/images/movingfly.gif" alt="" width="" height=""> " it updates, but then the adfield is empty and nothing shows.
Please can you point me in the good direction?
thank you. - MSAnsweredHello,
Please share the forum link in private reply with admin credentials.
Thank you - MSAnsweredHave you set the DEMO to 1 in index.php?
- HOAnsweredNo, never touched it.
I also uploaded a clean file: themes/default/views/sidebar.php
I can also see in the Dbase that in settings, ad_sidebar is on or off.
Of course I can hard code it in the sidebar page, but that is not the idea.
Otherwise I have no clue as to where it is saved. - MSAnsweredHello,
Are you sure that you haven't changed any code, specially the javascript and footer view?
I have observed that the ad settings page is fully reloading but in real it should be ajax call.
Please use the default files to test.
Thank you - HOAnsweredI don't want to make a big thing out of it.
Although I don't understand why, cause I made a fresh install from a new download , I hardcoded the weatherscript in the sidebar.php page. And that works good.
So for now the forum is working fine for me.
